Diwali, is known as the festival of lights and it holds a special place in the hearts of millions across India and beyond. At Learning Steps, this auspicious occasion was celebrated with exuberance, symbolizing unity and cultural richness.
Students at Learning Steps were apprised about the tale of Lord Ram's triumphant return to Ayodha after defeating the demon king Ravana through an engrossing story telling session. All students learnt that the festival signifies the victory of righteousness and light.
The preparations for Diwali celebrations began with the school being adorned in vibrant hues, depicting the festive spirit. Children arrived dressed in traditional attire, their faces were beaming with excitement and anticipation. Creativity bloomed as students crafted exquisite rangolis, a colorful tapestry of flowers and intricate patterns, adorning the school.
The atmosphere came alive with the soft glow of countless candles and diyas. The air filled with laughter and camaraderie as all the students expressed their happiness and joy. Students, guided by their teachers, lit candles and diyas, illuminating the surroundings and symbolizing the eradication of darkness with light.
Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha, embodiments of prosperity and wisdom, were revered with heartfelt prayers and offerings. The air was fragrant with the scent of incense and the sweet aroma of homemade delicacies.
The exchange of sweets and gifts between students fostered an atmosphere of friendship, brotherhood and association showcasing the spirit of giving and sharing. Laughter echoed through the corridors as they exchanged greetings and cherished these moments of togetherness.
